The NSW Wine Industry Association will be hosting two one day workshops broadly covering Tannin management and Brettanomyces perception and control.
Through GWRDC Grassroots funding, the AWRI will present the latest thoughts in tannin research, tannin structure and the related sensory affects dependent on grape ripeness and wine style. ‘Brett’ perception in different wine styles, along with monitoring, management and control strategies will also be discussed. In collaboration with NSW local associations, the workshops will be delivered in Mudgee and Canberra, and have been developed specifically to examine and discuss these pertinent topics in an open forum format.
