SO2 is by far the most common analytical test done on wine in Australia. Despite this, there is a general misunderstanding of its chemistry and roles within wine, both anti-microbial and antioxidant. This webinar will discuss the roles of each of the different forms of SO2, how to interpret analytical results, impacts in winemaking and common pitfalls and tricks when testing for it in wine.
